Hibiscus Week

At the start of week 2008/31, the first flowers are in the process of opening on pink and a mauve Hibiscus syriacus shrubs growing on dry soil. Elsewhere in the street, other Hibiscus shrubs, an earlier variety, are covered in mauve flowers. The Phlox are meanwhile at the peak of their glory in mixed beds.
