Cytisus Week

2008/21: The golden yellow drupes of the lilac, Laburnum vulgare, are the big eye-catcher this week, though Weigela is beginning to show a little of its colour too, while the herb Alliums are at their most perfect. The Paulownia tomentosa is still unfolding its glory and Cytisus is at its best. Late in the week Robinia hispida comes into its own. On television this week: the Chelsea Flower Show.
